the secret is out

As I was buying a cute new shirt this afternoon, my conversation with the cashier went down like this:

Cashier: "Ooh, I like your rings!"

Me: "Thanks!"

Cashier: "Wait, what does that one say?"

Me: "Robot."

Cashier: "You're ... a GEEK!!!"

She blurted out the word "geek" so loud and excited, like she'd figured out my secret.

Which, I guess, she had.
